Meet Coach K: Building Strength That Goes Beyond the Gym
For Coach K, fitness has never been just about looking good it’s about helping people build a body and lifestyle that allow them to keep doing the things they love.
With a background as a Doctor of Physical Therapy and more than 15 years in the fitness and wellness space, Kendra’s passion for movement grew from seeing firsthand how strength, mobility, nutrition, and consistency can completely change someone’s quality of life. Her own journey has also taught her that wellness evolves through different seasons of life. That perspective has shaped the way she coaches today: meet people where they are, challenge them to grow, and teach them habits they can actually maintain.
What’s Your Why? My purpose is bigger than helping someone lose weight or finish a workout. I want people, especially women to understand their bodies, become stronger, move better, and realize they are capable of more than they think. Whether she’s coaching a fitness class, helping someone improve their mobility, working with a transformation client, or simply encouraging someone to start again, Coach K wants people to leave better than they came.
What’s the Long-Term Vision? The vision is to continue building a wellness community where fitness, nutrition, education, and accountability all work together. Long term, Coach K wants to expand her reach beyond individual classes and challenges by creating programs and resources that help people build sustainable lifestyles. She also wants to continue developing as a leader helping other coaches discover their strengths, build confidence, and create impact of their own.
What’s the Challenge of Building a Solid Team? Building a team is about more than finding talented people. The real challenge is finding people who share the same standard, vision, work ethic, and commitment to serving others.
A strong team requires communication, consistency, accountability, and trust. Everyone brings different personalities and strengths to the table, so learning how to work together while keeping the mission bigger than any one individual is essential. For Coach K, the goal isn’t simply to build a team it’s to help build a culture.
I want us to create something people genuinely want to be a part of from anywhere in the world! A place where people get stronger physically, grow personally, and know they have a community pushing them forward.
